BNI GRANTS IDR 2.88 TRILLION CREDIT FACILITY TO DGK FOR KATARAJA TOLL ROAD DEVELOPMENT, STRENGTHENING ACCESSIBILITY AND INVESTMENT APPEAL OF PIK2
Jakarta, September 15, 2025 – Agung Sedayu Group is a leading property developer established in 1971, continuously strengthening its reputation as a pioneer in delivering business solutions and one-stop living concepts in Indonesia. With a philosophy of providing ideal comfort and the convenience of a modern lifestyle, ASG not only develops properties but also sustainable residential and business ecosystems, positioning itself as a key player in driving the growth of Indonesia’s major cities.
ASG is delighted to announce the execution of the Financing Cooperation Ceremony for the Kataraja Toll Road between PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (“BNI”) and PT Duta Graha Karya (“DGK”), which is part of Agung Sedayu Group. Previously, on September 1, 2025, a credit agreement was signed between BNI and DGK as the foundation of this partnership, which was subsequently reaffirmed through a ceremony on September 15, 2025, marking the commencement of the strategic financing collaboration for the Kamal–Teluknaga–Rajeg Toll Road (“Kataraja Toll Road”) spanning 38.6 km. The total investment value for Section 1 (Sedyatmo–Kosambi, 6.7 km) amounts to IDR 7.63 trillion. BNI is providing an investment credit facility of IDR 2.88 trillion to support the realization of this initial phase of the project.
The construction of the Kataraja Toll Road will be a game changer in connecting PIK2 with various parts of the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area. This infrastructure will strengthen connectivity to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Kamal, Teluknaga, and Rajeg, while further enhancing the strategic value of PIK2 as an emerging international-scale hub for residential, business, and tourism activities.
The Kataraja Toll Road is projected to create a multiplier effect on the local economies of Jakarta and Banten, generating new business opportunities, boosting property and tourism investments, creating jobs, and accelerating mobility and interregional connectivity.
The presence of BNI's management team also emphasized the importance of this collaboration. Agung Prabowo, Director of Corporate Banking, and Pancaran Affendi, SEVP of Wholesale Solutions & Value Chain, were also present. BNI's presence reflected the strategic role of the Kataraja Toll Road in improving connectivity in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and supporting the development of the Pantai Indah Kapuk area. More than just a toll road, this project reflects BNI's ongoing commitment to supporting national infrastructure development that provides added value to the community and encourages inclusive economic growth.
From a social perspective, this project delivers tangible benefits in the form of improved accessibility for local communities, tourists, and business stakeholders. It is further supported by the presence of the Nusantara International Convention & Exhibition (NICE), developed by PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK), a subsidiary of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk, which is also listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This iconic venue offers comprehensive facilities ranging from Exhibition Halls, an Atrium, Meeting Rooms, to an Outdoor Event Plaza. The toll road will significantly ease access for both local communities and international visitors traveling to PIK2.
“For us, the Kataraja Toll Road is not just an infrastructure project, but a connector that will open new routes, accelerate regional growth, and deliver real benefits to society,” said Richard Halim Kusuma, CEO of PIK2. “With the support of BNI and the synergy of stakeholders, we are confident this toll road will act as a catalyst for new economic centers in North Jakarta and Banten, while strengthening PIK2’s competitiveness both nationally and regionally.”
Richard Halim Kusuma, CEO of PIK2, stated that the signing of the credit facility with BNI is not merely a financial step, but also a significant milestone in the journey to realizing PIK2 as a world-class independent city. “This is the true manifestation of our vision to establish PIK2 as a home, a business hub, and a tourism destination that brings pride to Indonesia,” he concluded.
