Expanding the Property, Healthcare and Education Ecosystem, Bank Mandiri Strengthens Collaboration with Agung Sedayu Group and the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation
Jakarta, August 27th 2024 – Bank Mandiri continues to strengthen its position as the main preferred financial partner of choice by expanding the digital ecosystem in Indonesia. This step innitiative was is realized through collaboration with Agung Sedayu Group and the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to integrate banking services and products with customer needs to encourage service and business development in the retail and wholesale segments.
This collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Riduan as the Director of Bank Mandiri with Freddy Numberi as the Director of Agung Sedayu Group, which was witnessed by Sugianto Kusuma as the Chairman of Agung Sedayu Group and Darmawan Junaidi as the President Director of Bank Mandiri, followed by the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding Bank Services as a whole was also carried out by the President Director of Bank Mandiri, Darmawan Junaidi and the Chairman of Agung Sedayu Group who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, Sugianto Kusuma.
The signing of the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Collaboration Cooperation Agreement was also carried out by Dessy Wahyuni as Senior Vice President of Consumer Loan Group with Yohanes Edmond Budiman, Belly Djaliel, Ipeng Widjojo, and Freddy Numberi as Directors and officials of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk and its subsidiaries which are part of Agung Sedayu Group.
Darmawan Junaidi said, stated that this collaboration will maximize the use of superior digital solutions and retail products from Bank Mandiri such as Kopra by Mandiri and Livin’ by Mandiri to support various business activities in the Agung Sedayu Group and the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation networks. This collaboration is also in line with the company’s strategy as a bank with core competence in the wholesale segment to prioritize synergy with business groups with a strong business ecosystem.
“We hope that this collaboration can strengthen our commitment to providing digital services, innovative and useful property financing, as well as strengthening the existing collaboration between Bank Mandiri and Agung Sedayu Group and the Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation,” said Darmawan in his speech. Darmawan stated that this collaboration is proof of the company’s commitment to contribute directly to infrastructure development and the progress of the property industry in the country. “We believe this collaboration will be an important a significant step in encouraging infrastructure development and strengthening the national property industry, which can contribute to improving the Indonesia’s economy growth,” explained Darmawan.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Agung Sedayu Group and the President Director of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk, Sugianto Kusuma said that they welcome this collaboration as a strategic step to support various superior property projects that are being and will be developed.
